SUBJECT: SIGN PERMIT 2009-1390; CHASE BANK
Dear Ms. Karbach:
The -Planning Department has reviewed and approved your request for permanent
signs for Chase Bank, formerly Washington Mutual, at 78-805 Highway 1 1 1, La
Quinta, California. The approval of these signs is subject to the following
Conditions:
1. This sign permit grants two permanent building -mounted signs for "CHASE"
bank. The signs shall conform to the plans submitted as part of this application
and identified as sign '1' and sign '2'. The signs and graphics shall not exceed
an area of thirty (30) square feet. The location. and materials for the sign are
per the approved plans on file with the Planning Department.
2. The re -placement of the existing driveway signs is approved. The signs shall
re -place the existing 'clearance' and 'open' signs. The signs shall not be
illuminated.
3: The Chase 'Drive -Up' sign is approved. The sign shall not be illuminated and
shall not exceed a height of three and a half (3.5) feet.
4. Replacement of the existing 'Washington Mutual customer parking' signs is
approved. These signs are identified in the submitted plans as sign "I V, '12',
14', and "19'. The signs shall not be illuminated. The signs shall not exceed a
height greater than five (5) feet.
5. The acrylic graphic panel for the Washington Park Monument Sign is approved.
The approved graphic shall conform to the plans submitted as part of this
application.
