Dear Ms. Loyd:
The Planning Department has reviewed and approved your request for four permanent
illuminated signs for Rockin' Baja Coastal Cantina, located -at 78-902 Highway 1 1 1.
The approval is subject to the following Conditions:
1. This sign permit is for four building -mounted illuminated channel letter signs.
The sign materials and location are per approved plans on file with the Planning
Department.
2. The south and east elevation sign (sign B and C in the sign packet) shall consist
r of "Rockin' Baja Coastal Cantina" with surf board graphic and logo cabinet. The
south elevation sign shall not exceed thirty sever; (37) square feet in. area.
3. The north elevation sign (sign D in the sign packet) shall consist solely of the
logo cabinet. The north elevation sign shall not exceed twenty one (21) square
.feet in area.
4. The west elevation sign (sign A in the sign packet) shall consist of'ir d-ividual
channel letters, the surf board graphic with logo cabinet, and a corrugated metal
background. The logo cabinet and individual channel letters shall be illuminated.
The corrugate metal shall be maintained in a neat and professional fashion and
shall not be illuminated. The west elevation sign shall hot exceed fifty (50)
square feet in area.

5. The sign letters shall conform to the approved Sign Program for One -Eleven
La Quinta Shopping Center. (SA 1996-027).
6. A building permit shall be obtained from the Building &Safety Department prior
to installation of the signs.
