CHIPOTLE MEXICAN GRILL THE PAVILION AT LA QUINTA
Dear Mr. Wagstaff:
The Planning Department has reviewed and approved your. -request for two permanently -
mounted business identification sign for "Chipotle Mexican Grill" at The Pavilion at La Quinta.
The approval is subject to the following Conditions:
1. This sign permit grants ermanent internally -illuminated, channel letter signs. "Chipotle
Mexican Grill" letters shall be white with five (5) inch Hack returns. All le ers shall be
pinned "1'/s" from the wall. The materials, size, illumination and location for the sign are
per the approved plans on file with the Planning Department.
2. The north -elevation sign letters in the word "Chipotle" shall not exceed twenty-seven (27)
inches in height, and shall not exceed a width of eight and a half (8'/2) feet in length. The
size of the sign shall not exceed thirty eight (38) square feet. Sign letters in the word
"Mexican Grill" shall be a maximum of eleven (11) inches .in height and shall be placed
directly under the words "Chipotle".
3. . The south -elevation sign letters in the word "Chipotle" shall not exceed twenty-seven (27)
inches in height, and shall not exceed a width of eight and a half (8'/2) feet in length. Sign
letters in the word "Mexican Grill" shall be a maximum of eleven (11) inches in height and .
shall be placed to the side of the words "Chipotle". The total sign area shall not excedd
forty (40) square feet.
4. The sign letters must conform to the approved Sign Program for The Pavilion at La Quinta
(SA 04-786).
5. A building permit shall be obtained from the Building '& Safety Department prior to
installation of the sign.
