Dear Mr. Jones:
The Planning Department has reviewed and approved your request for two permanent
illuminated channel letter signs for the Coachella Valley Beauty College, located at 79-450
Highway .1 11, within the La Quinta Valley Plaza. The approval is subject to the following
Conditions:
1. This sign permit is for two building -mounted internally -illuminated channel letter sign to
be located at the entrance of the building and along the buildings southeastern
elevation. The signs shall be mounted flush to the building fascia. No raceway or
electrical equipment shall be visible from the exterior of the building. The sign size,
materials, and location are per approved plans on file with the Planning Department.
2. The signs shall not exceed forty (40) square feet in area. The letters "C.V Beauty" shall
not exceed a height of 16 inches. The letters "College" shall not exceed a height of 12
inches.
3. The sign letters, sign size and location shall conform to the approved Sign Program
for the La Quinta Valley Plaza (SA 03-735).
4. A building permit shall be obtained from the Building '& Safety Department prior to
installation of the signs.
