Hayhoe Inc. 41-865 Boardwalk, Suite 204 Palm Desert, CA 92260 RE: Stuart Residence - Quarry at La Quinta Dear Mr. Hayhoe: The City of La Quinta as a condition of final approval for the above mentioned structure, will require a statement from the engineer of record that structural observation has been performed per Section 307 of the Uniform Building Code. As of this date the engineer of record is Brian Gottlieb of BG Structural Engineering. In order to change the engineer of record, I would require a letter from Brian Gottlieb acknowledging that he is no longer involved with the project. I will also require a letter from an architect or engineer, licensed to practice in the State of California, stating that he or she has assumed the role of the engineer or architect of record. This person must also assume the responsibility of the structural observation requirements of Section 307. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
