The Community Development Department has reviewed your application for the above referenced
Minor Use Permit, and has determined that the proposed second unit complies with the
requirements of Section 9.60.090, Second Residential Units.
The following findings are applicable to the approval of this minor use permit:
A. The land use proposed is consistent with the General Plan, which designates the property
for Medium Density Residential development.
B. The use as proposed is consistent with the provisions of the Zoning Code, in that the RC
setbacks and other related development standards have been met.
C. Processing and approval of this minor use permit is in compliance with the provisions of the
California. Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). This proposal is exempt pursuant to CEQA
Guidelines Section 15303(b)..
D. Approval of this minor use permit will not create conditions materially detrimental to the
public health, safety and general welfare or injurious to or incompatible with other properties
or land uses in the vicinity. All surrounding properties are or will be developed as Medium
Density Residential, consistent with the subject property's use.
E. The proposed second unit is compatible with the design of the main unit and the surrounding
neighborhood, in terms of landscaping, scale height bulk, lot coverage and exterior
appearance.
