In my professional opinion this structure has been designed and constructed in such a manner that it meets building code requirements for vertical stability. The only concern that I have is the beam connection at the corner of the garage. I have included with this letter a sketched detail of a connection that I would like to see implemented to ensure that the beam will not pull out of the existing hanger during the occurance of an earthquake.
