Alt lateral resisting elements are ok. t also did a quick iuspoetion for the TS coltuwi revision at Lot 30 for the welds of the plates to the bucket. The welds were continuously inspected and approved by Jon Tandy per my revised details and calcs bated February 24, 1999 and therefore I accept hig findings of approval. I spec if ally was looking for the latera! resisting elerll" ; the shear walls and cantlevered TS column In the garage. A Complete naUerg Inspection was done by the building inspector. I wanted to rr,�,ke sure that the shear walls had holdowns with nuts and that the proper holdowns as called for on the plans were installed. The shear wall at the back of the garage were miWng the nuts for the 1i1�5 each end for shear wall 011. The cantilever steel column in the garage was Installed vvith the base of the column as a pinned connec Oon why was specified to be anchored to an erection pad with the grade beam poured around ft. Because of this a revised detail with revised calculations were done to remedy this situation. The revised Calculations and detail should be reviewed by the building department for approval. Them board was WevtouSly approved by the bi tkng Inspector as being an equivalent substitute for plywood as called for In the C 1culatiors and approved plans.
