FOUNDATION PLAN.NOTES
F 1. All.construction shall confirm to the latest applicable edition of U.B.C. Building
Code and local ordinances.
F 2. The 28 day strength and type of concrete shall be as follows:

FRAMING NOTES
ROOF SHEETING
5/8" Plywood structural grade II, PII 32/16.
With 10 d common nails at 6" ctrs. and
supported edges, 12" in field. Run all plywood
sheets perpendicular to rafter, joist and
truss direction. -Stagger all end joints a
minimum of 2 supporting members.
LUMBER GRADE
all solid rafters, headers, and beams shall be
grade #1 douglass fir south or better. All
members shall be free of the heart of the
tree.
WALL STUDS
Unless- shown otherwise, all exterior studs
shall be on 16" ctrs. All cutting and notching
shall be per UBC 2518g10.
FLOOR SHEETING
5/8" cdx Plywood, 32/16 PII and toung and
grooved . Glue to all joists. Nail with 19d at
6" ctrs. edges and boundry, 10' ctrs. in
field. Run all plywood sheets perpendicular
to joist direction. Stagger all end joints a
minimum of 2 supporting members.
RAFTER NOTES
All 2x Rafters shall be on 24" or 16" centers.
See plans for spacing. Min.2x solid block all
rafters and ceiling joists at all bearing
plate wall lines and beams. All rafter
framing shall have a ridge board one size
larger so that the width shall be no less than
the angled cut of rafters.
TRUSS JOISTS AND BEAMS
All truss Joists shall be installed per "Truss
Joist Corporation" Installation instructions.
Do not notch or cut .top or bottom flange.
Holes can be cut in the plywood web only per
Manufacturers requirements. All Micro Lam
Beams ,Must be Nailed or bolted together per
details, Notes and Manufacturers Requirements.
STRUCTURAL NOTES
1. Use common nails.
2. At top splice, provide ( ) 16d at each
side of splice.
3,. Were shown, provide 1 x 6 diagonal let in
brace per UBC B1-2518g5a or an Simpson CWB.

4. Shear Walls. Provide 3/8" plywood,
structural II with 8d at 2 1/2" ctrs. at
edges, 12" ctrs. in field. Block all edges at
all 2 1/2" ctr. edge nailing, provide minimum
3" nominal nailing member. Provide Simpson
HDSA holdowns on 4x D.F. #2 (or better) posts
at 'ends of 'shear panel. Run posts continious
from bottom to top plate or povide Simpson
MST48 centered and at both sides of post
splice. 3/4" holdown anchor- bolts 'to have
standard J. bolt .with 4x diameter return or
standard L. bolt with 12x diameter extension.
Provide 5/8" diameter by 10" anchor bolt. at
16" ctrs. and embed A.B. a minimum of 7 1/2"
into cone. between holdowns.at shear panel.
5. All interior walls use Ramset 3320 (ICBG #
1639)at 32" ctrs.except at walls with plywood
sheathing were spacing of Ramset shall be on
12" ctrs and 611.from ends.

CEILING FRAMING PLAN NOTES
CF1. Nail all double. 2x joists together)
with 16D staggered et -11-" centers. !
CF2. Nail all 2x ledgers (ceiling framing
only) to each wall stud with (3) 16D nails at
