SUBJECT: SIGN APPLICATION 2008-1277; COOKING WITH CLASS
Dear Mr. Engle:
The Planning Department has reviewed and approved your .request for one permanent
building mounted business identification sign for Cooking with Class, located at 47-
875 Caleo Bay Drive, Ste. 107, in La Quinta. The approval is subject to the following
Conditions:
1. . This sign permit is for one illuminated reverse channel letter sign and logo. The
sign materials and location are per approved plans on file with the Planning
Department.
2. The lettering for the sign shall be reverse channel lettering and shall not exceed
an area of fifteen (15) square feet. The color of the sign shall be light green. The
logo shall be of a similar or matching color, and: shall not exceed an area of
three (3) square feet. The logo shall be reverse pan channel. The sign and logo
shall have a maximum of 4" returns and shall be "pinned" off the building fascia
by a minimum of 1 " inch.
3. The sign and logo may be illuminated; however, illumination for the signs is
limited to reverse pan channel lettering. The sign and logo shall not be
illuminated until the completion of Buildings B, C, and D. Upon completion of
Buildings B, C, and D, the signs shall be illuminated. Once illuminated, the sign
and logo shall be turned off no later than 9:00 p.m. Sign and logo shall be
reversed illumination and shall be limited to a white LED.
4. The sign letters shall conform to the approved Sigh Program for Caleo Bay Park.
(SA 2006-1015).
5. A building permit shall be obtained from the Building & Safety Department prior
to installation of the signs.
