Re: Plan La Paz II Field Visit

Dear Skip,
The field visit to the residence known as La Paz revealed the following
discrepancies.
1. All the trusses need plywood across the ends and sides from top plate to
top chord to prevent racking of trusses at all supporting walls, please
install sheathing.
2. Straps are missing at one location where shown on plans, enclosed
marked -up prints show the locations, and the work is to be performed
according to enclosed revised details
3. Numerous locations are missing the "A35" anchors connecting roof
trusses to top plates and/or supporting wall beneath, these must be
installed
4. Anchor bolts are missing in the kitchen and master bedroom. Please
install epoxy anchors
5. Provide all "x" bracing between trusses as shown on plans
The city's building inspector may perform the follow-up inspection.
