In regards to the above mentioned residence we have provided vertical calculations for the new larger
clerestory window at the rear of the family room, raised header at the door way between the kitchen and the
dinning room, and the new window at the casita. We have included a partial framing plan showing the
existing framing (beams/headers, posts, shear walls, roof framing, etc ... ) with the location of the
new/modified windows/openings clouded. The new windows are in locations where there are no shear walls,
no impact to the existing lateral force resisting system occurs.
