the provisions of the Contractor's License Law, Chapter 9 (commencing with Section 7000) of
Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code, or that, he is exempt therefrom, and the basis
for the alleged exemption. Any violation of Section 7031.5 by 'any applicant for a permit
subjects the applicant to a civil penalty of not more than five hundred dollars ($500).

It has come to the attention of the City of La Quinta Department of Building and Safety that your
building permit #12787 at 49-006 Coachella Dr. has expired.
According to Uniform Building Code,.Section 106.4.4, no further work shall be performed on the
above permitted job -site until a new permit has been issued or an. extension granted. A one time
extension of this permit may be requested in writing within 14 days of the date on this letter.
If a final inspection has not been requested due to an oversight by either yourself or your contractor,
please schedule this inspection within 14 days to resolve this matter. Should we not hear from you
by March 23 for an extension or final inspection, we will begin an abatement process through the
City's Code Compliance Division and City Attorney's Office. We may also file a complaint with the
California State Contractor's License Board if applicable.
