REROOFING CERTIFICATION
49-796 COACHELLA DR.
As a Registered Architect, Licensed to practice in the State of California, I have reviewed
plans submitted by the Owner and his selected Contractor for compliance to support
reroofing as per the attached calculations.
Roof Slope is 3.25/12. Controlling spans on 6x8 members are limited to 16'.
Laminated Beams have a controlling span of 20' and are adequately sized.
The roof structure per submitted plans and specifications is capable of tile reroofing not
to exceed a weight of 13 psf. Refer to attached calculation with tile weight @ 12 psf as
adequate.
As submitted to me this roof structure will meet the requirements of the 1997 Uniform
Building Code for life safety criteria a defined," but not specific property protection or
preventive building damage. "
