Dear Sir,
This is to inform you that the Board of Directors and the Architectural Committee for Talante
Homeowners Association met recently to review your request submitted on 2/12/13 to install a pool and
spa with a BBQ area in your back yard as per the plans dated 2/7/13.
After due consideration the Board of Directors has approved your submittal contingent on the following
items:
1. Applicant to clarify that all landscaping as labeled existing will not be modified, however should
new plantings be needed, submittal and review required..
2. Owner to provide pictures of the existing rear yard landscape, prior to start of any construction to
confirm existing landscaping as called out on plans.
3. Owner must obtain all permits through City of La Quinta and provide Association with copy.
4. Owner agrees to ensure that the contractor keeps the streets, gutters and adjacent properties clean
and free of dirt, trash, debris or other material related to or caused by the work and clean up of all
street spills on a daily basis. Sweeping the streets every day, prior to washing down the street
every night. Do not let any debris travel down the streets toward any neighbors.
5. Construction hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM
6. Owner will be held responsible for any road damaged caused by contractors work or vehicles.
We strongly recommend use of plywood sheets under roof materials or stockpiles on the road as
needed to protect the road surface. This is especially important during this period of extreme
heat.
7. Owner required to submit a $1,000 refundable Construction Deposit payable to Talante H.O.A.
8. Owner agrees to submit the Notice of Completion form at the end of the project.
Courtesy Comment: Owner should obtain a copy of the contractors Workers Compensation Insurance
for full protection.
