I have reviewed the original truss calculations for the above noted project and have found them to be in
general compliance with the new structural design. The trusses were designed in accordance with the
2009 IBC/IRC code with a wind loading of 85 mph, exposure C which is equivalent to the 100 mph
exposure C that the building is now designed to under the 2013 CBC (based on 2012 IBC).
The trusses have been installed on the building for some time and the structural integrity should be
verified by either the truss company or a qualified licensed design professional. Truss A45 is shown in
the position of RB20 shown on our plans. The truss can replace the beam without affecting the overall
structural integrity of the building.
