Thank you for the opportunity to submit a proposal for the re -.roofing at the above referenced
property. We are pleased to submit our proposal for the work as described belmr. The scope of
work and associated costs are tis follows:
GENERAL
This proposal and contract is: made between Western Pacific Roofing Corp. (Contractor) and the
person (s) or entity named above (Owner)• Unless expressly stated to the contrary, the. contractor
shall be responsible .for perfonining the following:
DESCRIPTION
A, The general conditions of this standard construction contract shall 'fonn a part of these
specifications with the;same force and effort as though repeated herein.
B_ The Contractor shall fixrnish all labor, materials, equipment, pennits, cont actor's licenses
and 'insurance certificaftions to perform all operations required as specified; The contractor
shall provide labor and material customarily included. in work of, the. same nature to give a
quality, complete job.
C. If any unforeseen or !unexpected conditions are encountered during the work, and the
conditions adversely affect the cost or progress of the work, the contractor will notify the
owner immediately, apd the owner will negotiate a written change-ordej to resolve the

E- Contractor's scope of work shall not include the identification, detc-.tion, abatement;
encapsulation or removal of asbestos or similar hazardous substances. including mold,
mildew and infestation of rodents. If Contractor encounters any such products, materials or
conditions in the course of performing its work. or if such hazardcus materials
are
encountered by an), otlhcr firm performing work at the jobsite and contractor determines that
such materials preseht a hazard to its employees, contractor shall. have the right to
discontinue its work and remove its employees from the jobsite until ;ucb products or
materials, and any hazards connected therewith, are located and abated, encapsulated or
removed, or it is detemro,ined that no hazard exists ( as the case may require), and contractor
shall receive an extension of time to complete its work hereunder and compensation for
delays encountered as a result of such situation and correction, Due to he possibility of
mold, mildew and rodents being present before, during or atter our work, Contractor's
scope of work shall not include the identification, detection or the removal of mold, mildew
and rodents. Owner agrees to hold, Contractor harmless, and shall indemnify Contractor
harmless for any mold) or rodent related claims in the future_
F. If a dispute shall anise between Contractor and Owner with respect tc any maters or
questions arising out of or relating to this contract or the breach thereof, such dispute
shall be decided by arbitration administered by and in accordance with the Construction
Industry Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. ur through. such
arbitration procedures as the parties may agree. This contract shall be specifically.
enforceable under the prevailing arbitration law. The award rendered b:V the arbitrators
shall be final, and judgment may be entered upon it in any Court having jurisdiction
thereof.
H. Should suit be brought to cnfbrce or interpret any part of this agreement. the "prevailing
party" shall be cntitlod to recover, as an element of costs of suit and. not as damages,

square feet.

total system thickness for all. coats of 30-32 TOTAL DRY MILS. Top coat color to

4. All foam is tr, be coated. Coating shall extend up and over all fcamed vent pipes
and tezxninated a minimum, of 2" above the foam, creating a. neat -appearance, self

SKYLIGHTS: The skylights will be removed during the re -roofing procesi. Care will be
taken while removing the skylights, however, damage may occur to' the interior finish. No
repair to the interior will be made. Any repair work required is the Building Owner's
responsibility. Debris will fall through the openings when the skylights are removed. We -
suggest covering the area beneath the openings with a sheet or plastic sheeting.

WARRANTY
A. Manufacturer's 10 year full -systema warranty will be issued upon completion 0ifthe roof and

standard warranty, which is made a part of this proposal and contract and incorporated by
reference. A copy of the standard warranty is attached or, if not, will be furnished upon request.
Manufacturer and Contractor SHALL NOT BE; LIABLE' FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR
CONSF.,QUENTIAL, DAMAGES. The acceptance of this proposal by the Customer signifies his
agreement that this warranty A.iall be and is the exclusive remedy against Contractor for all

installation, service reliability and long -term performance. The price may be subject to change 15
days from the date of this proposal.
