The Architectural Committee has .reviewed your Architectural Variance Application for the addition of the
above listed variances per the; plan submittal prepared by Vacotion. Pools, .lnc., revised. February 3, 2017. The
proposed scope. of work is acceptable in accordance; with the Architectural 'Guidelines. Homeowner's
Association. 'CC&R's,'Mointenance and 7ndenuiity Agreement and the conditions. and/requirements as included
with this letter inclusive ofall Building Codes..
The following conditions -and/or requirements are pertinent and subject.for this acceptance.
1. Prior to the start of any work, provide a signed set, -of plans, Aamped by the City of La.Quinta,
and the city issued permit. Provide a pirofessionally,prepared drainage and fiais6 grading plan.
2. The homeo%vner, and;the `contractor to.schedule a meeting w1th the Landscape%Irrigation Manager, Bill
l3obbitt, and the Maintenance/Lighting Manager,', Williamm Aceves, prior fo the start of any work. The
purpose.is to confirm the pi -e -construction.' condition, establuWug the responsibility for existing
HOA property. .
3.. The contractor to provide rear: property line comers: Staked comers.are to remain during construction
and for -final inspection.
4. The homeowner and contractor are` required to- provide code compliant drainage flow and ;water drain

wires in .this area to be verified and the. HOA"nofified: The abandoned pool;equipment/piping to be
removed:
6. The .contractor is responsible :for all protection, rerouting. and modifications of. existing utility services
belonging to HOA or*utility companies.
7. The HOX is not responsible- for verifying property lines, ;easements, existing utility services, irrigation
and. drainage lines. Thi HOA and its', representatives do not accept anyresponsibility for verification or
accuracy of this information.

8. The HOA does not provide permission ,to access the rear, of .the property from the golf course/HOA
common area. The proposed access is from the neighboi shared property, -;side yard. All damaged stucco
areas to be repaired.
9. Any electrical wiring exposed during construction must ber`eported to the Association.
10. The contractor to repair and/or replace any ,damaged irrigation, Landscape, hardscape, lights, drainage
devices or street surface damage to the satisfachon�of the HOA. .
11. Submit a landscape lan ° All landscape and it modifcations`are the responsibility of the
homeowner and their contractor. Only Toro brand sprihkler"heads are to be used. Any lawn repair must
be done with 328 -hybrid Bermuda sod.Ail planting -and tree removal by ;homeowner's, contractor.
12. All modifications to the existing sprinkler systems are to be made by the coniracto"r to the satisfaction of
the HOA.
13. The HOA is not responsible for demolition or removal of existing hardscape, landscape, sprinklers and
lighting.
14. The homeowner and contractor are advised to comply with the contractor''s working guidelines and
vehicle rules.
15. The contractor must provide traffic control devices and personnel during thework period, if required,for
safety.
16. The contractor is not allowed to stockpile :any material, equipment, or construction debris in the street.
All debris must be cleaned, up daily.
17. The street gutters cannot be used for concrete wash out and the contractor is responsible for keeping the
gutter clear. and free°of debris. Streets areto be cleaned daily.,
18. Upon completion,, the .homeowner is required to p . vide.a signed .copy of the city inspection card and
the Notice o C m letion*Certi ication.letter (enclosed).
19. The homeowner and the contractor to:schedule* a meeting with the .landscape/irrigation manager and the
