Dear Chris:
'The Architectural Committee and their Architectural Consultant has performed their
review of your plans for the addition to the Porteous residence. As the proposed
expansion conforms to all setbacks, and the elevations appear to tie into the existing
structure well with materials and finishes matching existing, you may move forward with
the necessary construction drawings and approval from the City of La Quinta: We would
ask that any changes requested by the City be forwarded to the Association for our files.
Prior to the commencement of construction we will also need a copy of the Building
Permit.
When convenient, please have the building contractor and/or job superintendent contact
me for a pre-construction meeting on the site. It is important that the contractor and
the Homeowners Association are on the same page as it relates to construction rules
and regulations; signage; use of transponders for the admittance of all sub-contractors; '
maintenance of the lot and street frontage during construction; hours of operation, etc.. -

We will also require a $25,000 refundable construction deposit just prior to the
commencement of construction. -
