Plan Notes:
1) All construction shall comply with the 2010 California Residential, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing,
Energy, and Green Building Codes and the La Quinta Municipal Code.
2) All 'or equal' substitutions must be submitted to, and approved by the Building Official prior to
installation of the item.
3) Penetrations through the walls or ceilings separating the dwelling from the garage shall be
protected (such as those for vents, pipes, ducts, cables and wires) with an approved material to
resist the free passage of flame and products of combustion. (CRC §R302.5)
4) 50 CFM mechanical exhaust fan shall be provided at all bathrooms in accordance with California
'Mechanical Code (Table 4-4 (pg. 70))*
5) Provide at least one 20 -ampere branch circuit to serve bathroom receptacles."Such circuit(s) shall
have no other outlets." (CEC §210.11(C)(3); 210.52(D))
6) Provide at least one wall receptacle outlet within thirty-six (36) inches of the outside edge of each
bathroom basin. The receptacle outlet shall be located on a wall or partition that is adjacent to the
