Roudel Lane Homes/Chazen Construction Dear Mr. Hartung, It has come to my attention that a number of United States Gypsum Company SHEETROCK Brand 5/8" Type X Firecode Gypsum Panels were found on subject jobsite without printed identification on the face. They had bee applied by Bernard Drywall, the drywall contractor, preventing visual inspection of the information printed on the reverse side. Several plant representatives from our Plaster City plant visited the jobsite on 8/8/89 and inspected the board. They had a gypsum panel removed and were able to verify the panels which had been applied to the garage walls and ceilings were indeed the required 5/8" Type X Firecode Gypsum Panels. This material complies with ASTM C36 requirements for Type X gypsum board. If we can be of any further assistance in the matter, please call at the number above.
