This letter is in regards to the above referenced project. As requested, on June 22, 2007, as the
engineer of record, I made a re -visit to the site for a follow up of my previous inspection. This
inspection was for Plan #1, elevation "C". The following is a list of my findings.
All beam and header sizes were accounted for. Truss's were installed per approved drawings. All
shear panels, shear transfer details, anchor bolts and holdowns were accounted for. Straps as
shown on plans, for example along grid line "A" were not installed. Since the top plates were not
broken but continuous above the beam the straps are not required. I informed framer that straps
only need to be installed where top plates are not continuous. An opening was installed in a
shear wall in the garage for the sales unit, a CS16 coiled strap was installed top and bottom, back
two stud bays each side. The opening will be filled in once the sales unit is no longer noded.
The framing was in conformance with the approved drawings, no exception taken.
