the provisions of the Contractor's License Law, Chapter 9 (commencing with Section 7000) of
Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code, or that. he Is exempt therefrom, and the basis
for the alleged exemption. Any violation of Section 7031.5 by 'any applicant for a permit
subjects the applicant to a civil penalty of not more than five hundred dollars ($500).

Gentlemen:
It has come to the attention of the City of La Quinta Department
of Building and Safety that your building permit #0905`6 for a
remodel located at 48-741 San Vicentie has expired.
According to the Uniform NBuilding Code, Section 303(d), no -further
work shall be performed on the above permitted job -site ',until a
new permit has been issued or an extension granted.
Should you.wish an extension of this permit you must request, in
writing, for an extension within 30 days of the date of this
letter.
.Once a permit has expired a new permit must be obtained prior to
any further work or inspections to take place. The fees for anew
permit would be as listed in Section 303(d).
