- I Coverage:
APPLICATION '
SWD-1929 HS was especially formulated to fulfill the four
basic requirements as a potential coating for sprayed
rigid polyurethane foam:
Excellent adhesion. to rigid plastic foam, concrete,
masonry, wood, and metal.
It is MOISTURE. PROOF but not vapor proof. It breathes,
allowing vapor movements thus preventing pressure
build up, a main cause for roof blisters.
It is HEAT RESISTANT. Because itis applied over a layer of
insulation which blocks the flow of heat through the roof
deck, the coating is subjected to punishing heat stresses.
To enhance its life expectancy, we recommend only white
or very light pastel shades (even though it can be tinted in t°
darker colors) which give the coating maximum heat
reflection characteristics.
-It is WEATHER RESISTANT to give optimum protection ,
against deleterious effect of U.V. light on the low density
layer of insulation beneath it. It has been subjected to over
4,000 hours of accelerated weathering (equivalent to .13
years of natural exposure): in an Atlas Weatherometer '
without showing deleterious effect on the urethane foam
f and the coating. _

PROCESSING ,INFORMATION:
Preheater and hose temperatures are dependent on weather conditions
and processing equipment. Recommended gun temperature is
120-130°F for most types of high -output dispensing equipment to
achieve proper atomization of liquid components.
GENERAL DISPOSAL GUIDELINES:
The "A" and "B" side components can be disposed of individually or as a reaction product. If the reaction product technique is employed, attention
should be given to the exotherm properties of the foamed mass. Quantities as small as one cubic foot of poorly mixed foam may self -ignite. Foamed
masses in this manner should be removed from inside the building to either a nonflammable container or an open area and broken apart to allow
the exothermic heat to escape the foamed mass. This should alleviate any chance of self -ignition. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheets for individual disposal.
