The artificial palm fronds have all been replaced. The old fronds had been removed over the span of the last three years. Staff secured the new fronds so they will be more difficult to remove. The refurbishing was planned before the interactive water feature opened for the season on April 24, 2010. Due to delays from the manufacturer, the work was not completed until the first week in May. Two new trash cans were installed at the Cove Oasis on the CVWD dike. The new trash cans required an encroachment permit to install them on CVWD property. The trash cans are accompanied by a dog bag dispenser next to each can. These two new trash cans will provide additional disposal areas for both trash and dog bags. The new playground at Adams Park is now open to the public. The safety material was delivered the last week in May and the construction fence has been removed. The contractor was able to install the posts for the shade structure and will install the shade sails once the manufacturer completes the custom fitting. 29 COMMISSIONER ITEM: 1 y &m 6 O O N C C C C C C d C d c d C N C d C d c N C d C d C N C C d O O y d y d y d y N N d y d y d y d y d y d y N y d y d y d y d y d y d N a` a` a` a` a` d d d Q m m c O O C C C m 5 jN N y w d w aci aci N p d d N N N N N a` U C 0 0 N C c d c d c d c d c d c d c d c d c d c c c c c J N y y y y y y y y y y d y d y d y d y d y d W a a a s a a a` L N U • U A O O a 0 o c c c c c c c c c c c c c c :t LL N N d d d d N d d d d d d d d d y N y y y y y y y y y y y y d h  L 0 Y U O 0 00 m N N C N C m C N C d C d C d C d O `- d d d ry pyj y N yr W y K Y N e m o aci v m p`p N y aci y aci y aEi y aci y aci aEi aci w w 0 O N O d d d d y d y d y d y d y d y d y d y d  aa a a s as v L N 00 O O O d 0 0 m N N N d N m N N N N N N N N m m ayi m ayi d W  c m d  E X c_ w a o E a Q F- E o 0 E 0 d y J U d 0 U X W w > E O 1 y > > y LL Q y d> X J LL L d L O U d d C O " E w U U RI C Eyyo0 d ry C O W > OCdd c ~7J O U O'O O J O E d N O N U LL UCd dd C U F a GC YN' 0YO 0CNd j d0 O wdJ JcdN E N y N EO (U wmO o Jj c Q OdU d O d Oma Q m N7 dyy md Oy O LLydO N R G C c Cy d C LCWUmCd t1J0 C GO3` 0 0 N E dc E O O / Q ( a LL H - >NQ LL 30 0 t m 0 O N N N N H N N N N N 0 N d N N N N N ar a` 0- a` Q `m m c V O O .500 m m v N N N N aci M VI aci N U C mm 3 0 o N c c c J O G N M N N Yi N N N m a` a`a` U Jt m W O N O C y C C C C C iC NN 0 m y m y m y m y m N m O L m Y U O W O 0 C C C 00 mNN of H w E n m S Y 20 O m o c N N TO 9  O d L N m O o O m O m  N W OM ! 0 n N c y y r_ E X c w ° E a n Q H 0 d 0 O C 0 C O c N Q C o ry E X c w c N m N J L y c O C U N = N N w W Q C 0 J C7 O U)N C> O== C Y_ 3 Q r C Y E y U t0 r O J J y OYj c0t0 N p mt ttlN Np1O t0 U ti c NJ ❑ N'; U o m 0 m C Cc N USNQw w Z H w Q2 2 w 31 COMMISSIONER ITEM: 2 O p C Q E H C 'O) E E Y j OCN ^ I  d N O i I W ' I ' I u O ^3.— m j ^ - 2 `n N r No I v 9 I 3 ' CV P N I O C C o p p CCL ai E V co CCN N j C !
