A request for a Lot Line Adjustment may be approved only if the
following findings are made pursuant to Section 13.68.020 of the
La Quinta Municipal Code:
1. The adjustment involves adjacent parcels;
2. No additional parcels are created;
3. None of the parcels involved are reduced below the
minimum development standards.
LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Completed and signed application form.
2. A map or the current Assessor's Map page showing the
proposed lot line adjustment, including the following: all
existing structures, dimensions, existing and proposed lot
lines, and, unless property lies within the Cove area, all
angles of direction .
3. A metes and bounds legal description. For Cove area lots, a
legal description by lot, block, unit and/or tract number is
acceptable.
4. Proof of ownership in the form of a copy of the original
Grant Deed for the properties involved.

noted on the Deed(s):
Correct legal description(s) for each adjusted property;
"THIS DEED REFLECTS LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT NO. , AS
APPROVED BY THE CITY OF LA QUINTA." (The Lot Line
Adjustment Number will be filled in by this office.)
This is required whether or not there is a conveyance
involved, as state law does not recognize a lot line
adjustment by itself as a legal, recordable document.
6. APPLICATION FEE: $125 in cash or check payable to the City
of La Quinta. (NCr 4fPuco-gee= in} coYtn- Avina>
The Planning and Development Department will review and, if
complete and acceptable, the Planning Director will approve the
Lot Line Adjustment Application. The Application will then be
forwarded to the County Recorder's Office for recording purposes.

Dear Mr. Sobczyk:
Thank you for submitting your development application to our
Department on July 18, 1991. However, your application is
incomplete pursuant to Government Section 65943 and we will
need the following information from your company to proceed
with your application: 1) 300 foot radius map property
ownership labels (three sets) prepared by a licensed firm (e.g.
title company or other agency), 2) colored plans, 3) lot line
adjustment exhibit prepared by a licensed surveyor or Civil
Engineer, and 4) materials, and color board.
In the interim, our Staff has scheduled your case for general
discussion by the City's Development Review committee on August
8, 1991, at 2:45 P.M. If you have a problem with this meeting
date, please contact me and I will try to reschedule your case
to another date and/or time. It would be extremely helpful if
you could make sure that all your Development Staff is
available for questioning on August 8th because you will be
meeting with our Staff and possible other public agency Staff.
We have not scheduled your case for review by the Design Review
Board or with the Planning Commission. However, we will set
these dates and times once we have the Development Review
Committee meeting, and all materials have been received by our
Department.
