FOAMBOND proposes to install a urethane foam roofing system at the above noted
address in accordance with the following detailed specifications on 4,543 sq. ft of
existing foam roof.
TEAR OFF SPECIFICATIONS:
PREPARATION:
1. Remove existing roofs down to wood substrate, on re -roof area (app 2300 sq feet)
2. Open all drains and scuppers, make sure all drains are not_clogged..
3. Replace damaged plywood and dry rot as needed at $1.85 a foot
4. Install blocks under all conduit and water lines
5. Extend roof jacks as required to accommodate new urethane foam roof
6. Install new 24 GA drip edge metal
7. Prime entire roof deck at t gallon per 250- sq. ft.
8. Mask all areas not to receive the foam application (walls, A/C's, etc.)
URETHANE FOAM APPLICATION:
9. Spray/apply a minimum of 1" of 2.7 to 3.0 lb. nominal density foam to entire roof
deck and parapet walls, spray foam will be built up and sloped toward scuppers/drains
10. Add foam build-up.in.low areas. to -improve- severely pond conditions
11. Grind foam at drains/runoff areas to promote proper drainage
12. Terminate foam near top of exposed Z -metal on roof to wall transitions
COATING APPLICATION:
13. Apply acrylic elastomeric caulking at roof penetrations as a secondary sealant on top
of the foam application
14. Apply a high solids elastomeric acrylic gray basecoat at 1-1/2 gallons per 100 sq. ft.
15. Apply a high solids elastomeric acrylic white topcoat at 1-1/2 gallons per 100 sq. ft.
16. Add fire white ceramic roofing granules at 40 lb per 100 square feet
FINAL WORK:
17. Remove all masking materials and over spray protection
18. Remove all job related trash from job site
19. Perform a final job walk with the Owner of Owner's representative
WARRANTY:
20. FoamBond warranties all labor and materials for a period of ten years on foam roof
areas only. Warranty is renewable at the end of the term.
Price and payment terms: 10% upon contract acceptance. Balance due on job
completion.
