NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting of the Housing Authority
of the City of La Quinta is hereby called to be held on November 1, 2011 starting
at 5:30 p.m. at La Quinta City Hall, 78 -495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta, California.
Said special meeting shall be for the purpose of
discussing matters of joint interest to the Members of the
Housing Authority and Housing Commission!

BACKGROUND AND OVERVIEW
The Housing Authority will meet with the Housing Commission to discuss matters of
joint interest at the annual Joint Commission Meeting which is scheduled for
November 1, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. The following is a list of suggested discussion topics:
1. Discuss the top priorities that the City Council /Housing Authority would like
the Housing Commission to focus on this year. Discuss ways the Housing
Commission can help accomplish the Housing Authority's goals.
2. Discuss ways the Housing Commission can help promote the importance of
affordable housing to the community and communicate the level of quality in
La nuinta's affordable housing projects and programs.
3. Discuss the elements and amenities that the City Council /Housing Authority
believe are important to include in future affordable housing projects.
