referenced property. We are pleased to submit our proposal for the installation or ;1
polyurethane rool System. The scope of work and associated costs are as IbIlows:
GENERAL
Unless ;.xpressly stated to the contrary, thc: contractor shall he responsible for perforniing
the following acts.

A. The general couditions of this standard construction contract shall form it part or
these specifications with the surae lbrc:e and effort as though repeawd herein.

abatement. encapsulation or removal of nsbestos or similar h:>,ardous SubstancCS
including mull and or mildew. If Contractor encounters aay such products,
:miterials or conditions in the course of performing it work, or if such hazardow-

SURFACE PREPARATION
A. The loose gravel will be vacuunied oftof the existing roof' ystcrn.
B. Remove any contaminants that will interfere with the adhesion of sprayed
urethane foam to the substrate.
C. Roof deck shall be primed with Neoprime Primer at thexate of .33 to .50 gallon~
per 100 square feet.
D. Dama-d plywood will he replaced at a rate of ` 84.00 per sheet or portion thereof.
APPLICATION OF POLYURETHANE FOAl14 AND CnATIMS'
A. 1.71'ethane foam insulation shall he sprayed -applied to a nonti.nal thickness of' l"
(plus or minus 1 /4 inch). Only 3 lbs. density foam wilt be used in this
application. Additional foam will be sodded to the low areas to help minimize
ponding,. Sonne ponding will remain.
B.C:oatm -hall be applied in a tninitnutn of two (2) separate coats.
1 -he Vase coat shall be applied at a rate of 1.50 alons per 100 square feet.
b. The top coat shali be applied at a rate of 1.513 gallons per 100 square feet,
vielding a total system thickness for all coats of 222-24 Tidal .Dry Mils.

NOTE tl1: The skylights will he removed during the re-ronfing process. Care will be
taken while removing the skylights, however, damage may occur to the interior
finish. No repair to the interior will he made. Any repair work is the Building
Owner's responsibility. llehris will fall through the openings when the skylights are
removed. We suggest covering the area beneath the openings with a sheet or plastic
sheeting.
NOTE #2: The HVAC units will require disconnecting, installation of taller
platforms and new platform covers. This work is included in the contract amount. -
NOTE 003: There is a water line an the roof surface that is too low and the mounting
bracket~ are fustened directly iuto the roof system. This pipe must be raised and
installed on blocks. This work is NO'f included in the contract amount and must be
completed by others.
PAYN-- fENT TERMS
