I immediately contacted the contractor several times by telephone and letter requesting that he complete the job in the manner specified in our contract. On March 10, 2000,I spoke with Scott Stokes and he informed me they were going to do any- thing. On January 4, 2001,I wrote a finale demand letter to the contractor. To date, all my request had been ignored. I enclosed a copy of additional correspondance, including a formal demand letter which I sent by mail, which although received, went unanswered. It is my understanding that your agency has the authority _to- investigate. It is described as "78-215 Cloud View Way". Representations were made by your salesman that the house was properly constructed. Since occupying the residence, various defects in construction have become self evident: The entire dining room floor is slanting so badly that furniture cannot stand level.. 2. The cement floor in the garage is disintegrating, and is cracked and broken. Other houses in the area do not have our problems. 3. The driveway has extreme cracking. 4. The ceiling wall has separated: It is possible that the entire structure has defects due to improper compacting. This should certainly have been anticipated by the contractor. We have pointed these and other defects out to your employees. Some repairs were started but, obviously, the work has ceased.
