According to the Uniform Building Code, Section 303 (d) , no further work shall be performed on the above job until a new permit has been obtained. Section 305 (e) 5 requires a final inspection when work is completed. Your failure to act upon the previous correspondence (enclosed) dated June 16, 1992 has left the City of La Quinta Building Department no recourse but to contact the State Contractor's Licensing Board. We will send copies of all records regarding this expired permit, to the Board fourteen (14) days after the date of this letter. In lieu of this action, you may obtain a new building permit, the cost of which will be equal to your original permit fees, or request a special inspection, cost $100, and schedule an inspection to continue work within the earlier mentioned fourteen (14) day time frame.
