Dear Ms. Barber:
This letter is to, verify the expiration of your building permit
#10127.
According to the Uniform Building Code, Section 303 (d) , no further
work shall be performed on the above job until a new permit has
been obtained. Section 305 (e) 5 requires a final inspection when
work is completed.
Your failure to act upon the previous correspondence (enclosed)
dated June 16, 1992 has left the City of La Quinta Building
Department no recourse but to contact the State Contractor's
Licensing Board. We will send copies of all records regarding this
expired permit, to the Board fourteen (14) days after the date of
this letter.
In lieu of this action, you may obtain a new building permit, the
cost of which will be equal to your original permit fees, or
request a special inspection, cost $100, and schedule an inspection
to continue work within the earlier mentioned fourteen (14) day
time frame.

It has come to the attention of the City of La Quinta Department of Building and
Safety that your building permit #10127 for a patio cover located at 52-395
Juarez has expired.
According to the Uniform Building Code, Section 303(d), no further work shall be
performed on the above permitted job -site until a new permit has been issued or
an extension granted.
Should you wish an extension of this permit you must request, in writing, for an
extension within 14 days of the date of this letter.
Once a permit has expired a new permit must be obtained prior to any further work
or inspections to take place. The fees for a new permit would be as listed in
Section 303(d).
We appreciate your immediate attention to this matter.
