The structural review for using an alternative to holdowns
at the 3'-6" shear panel in the front wall is to c{o to a
REDHEAD Wedge Anchor catalog no. WS -78100. This is a 7/8"
round x 1011,long wedge anchor which is to be installed
6 1/4" rain. into the concrete. Please ensure that the borcd
hole is thoroughly cleaned and washed of all loose duet Or
debris. Install ea., of two at the end of the panel.
The second issue -is that regarding of the overhanging h(38--
ders at the corner glass windows. In this instance please
use a SIMPSON HL -35 angle with (2) 1/2" lag bolts in each
leg.
