SUBJECT: PLOT PLAN NO. 95 -562 (AMENDMENT #1), TIME EXTENSION
REF: TEMPORARY OFFICE TRAILER
Dear Mr. Haag:

The Community Development Department has received your application request to (1) install an
additional temporary office trailer (24' wide by 60' long) at 56 -140 PGA Boulevard adjoining the
existing temporary facilities approved by the City in 1989, and (2) allow a five -year time extension
for the existing facilities at this location which were permitted under Plot Plan No. 89 -410. The new
temporary trailer is listed as a temporary use under Chapters 9.80 and 9.100.180 of the Zoning Code,
and can be approved subject to the following Conditions:
A building permit is required for the temporary trailer and temporary electric power. Please
apply to the Building and Safety Department for a permit (619- 777 - 7012). The trailer shall
be self - contained and include bathroom and lavatory facilities for workers or employees, and
be accessible to the physically challenged.
2. All proposed and existing temporary improvements at this site (i.e., trailers, landscaping, etc.)
permitted under Plot Plan No. 89 -410 and Plot Plan No. 95 -562 shall be removed by
September 4, 1998. No additional time extensions will be allowed according to Chapter
9.100.180 (Relocatable Buildings) of the Zoning Code.
Use of the trailer shall be limited to the hours of construction as listed in the La Quinta
Municipal Code (Chapter 6.08, Nuisances). A copy of this time schedule can be obtained
at the Building and Safety Department.
4. Specific construction plans for the temporary trailer shall be submitted to the Riverside
County Fire Department for plan check review and approval prior to issuance of a building
permit by the City. Please contact Mr. Tom Hutchison, Fire Safety Specialist, regarding their
