Scope of work
• The contractor shall supply all; labor, transportation, material, and tools necessary for
completion of all roofing related work.
Quality control '
• All roofing material must be manufactured by the primary manufacturer.
• Contractor shall provide field quality control through supervision, instruction and inspection of
the application.
Removal and disposal
• Contractor shall clean blisters, buckles, and any other bad areas shall be fastened and/or cut out.
Refasten or remove all gravel stop, loose flashing or count flashings as needed, loose gravel,
dirt and debris from roof deck and leave clean for proper roof installation. Remove other none
use equipment.
• All roofing debris to be properly disposed of ata local landfill.
• Check for weak areas any found will be inspected'for dry rot and replaced on a time and
material basis upon approval of owner or agent.
Sight set-up
• Castro Roofing and (owner or agent) to agree upon a workable set up area in which to locate
his equipment.
• Contractor shall restrict the public by setting up safety tape around the set up area, i.e., kettles,
trucks, bins, etc.
• Grounds to be left clean on a daily basis.
General
• Only competent workmen shall be employed on the work.
• Job to be staffed from 7:00 a.m, to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• Should inclement weather threaten, or job is shut down due to high winds, etc., Contractor will
man the job on weekends at no extra charge to the owner.
• Contractor to obtain all necessary permits for :the re -roofing, and coordinate the required
inspection with the building department.
• Upon request contractor to supply owner or agent with a certificates of workers compensation,
and liability insurance.

Install edge metal as needed and paint to match existing stucco as close as possible

Apply neoprene primer at a rate of one gallon per 200 square feet apply 3.0 nominal density
polyurethane foarn uniformly over the entire surface at minimum of 1" thickness all edges to be
tapered for smooth transition. Over polyurethane apply high solids elastomeric acrylic base coat at. a.
rate of 1'/x gallon per 100 square feet and allow time to cure. Over base coat apply a second coat of
high solids elastolneric acrylic top coat at a rate of 1 '/2 gallon per 100 square feet. Over wet top coat
embed white/gray #11 granules over surface at a rate of 45 to 55 pounds per 100 square feet.

Note:
For a full life. expectancy and even extend the life of the roof it is recommended that
maintenance procedures with annual inspections provided by your roofing contractor should be
considered.
