REQUEST: ADOPT AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING FOR 120 DAYS THE MORATORIUM ONTHEAPPROVAL
OF ANY LAND USE ENTITLEMENT, INCLUDING SUBDIVISIONS, USE PERMITS, VARIANCES,
BUILDING PERMITS, OR ANY OTHER APPLICABLE ENTITLEMENT, FOR ADDITIONAL
BEDROOMS BY CONVERTING NON -BEDROOM SPACES AND AREAS INTO BEDROOMS IN
SPECIFIED RESIDENTIAL ZONES IN THE CITY OF LA QUINTA, AND FINDING OF EXEMPTION
PURSUANT TO CEQA GUIDELINES SECTIONS 15060(c)(2) and 15061 (b)(3) UNDER THE

The Design and Development Department has determined the proposed ordinance is exempt under the
California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Sections 15060(c)(2) and 15061(b)(3)

the Hearing.
