Public Hearings 24" CITY OF LA QUINTA CITY COUNCIL AND HOUSING AUTHORITY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE 1S HERBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of La Quinta ("City") and the Board of Directors of the La Quinta Housing -Authority ("Authority") will hold a joint PUBLIC HEARING in the Council Chambers of the La Quinta City Hall, 78-495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta, California on August 1, 2017, beginning at 5:00 P,M, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. for the City's and Authority's consideration concerning the purchase and sale of a permanent roadway and public utilities easement on Dune Palms Road south of Westward Ho Drive (APN 600-030-004, 020 and 021) to the City of La Quinta for future road widening. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public testimony on the proposed purchase agreement. Any person may submit written comments on these matters to the City Manager's Department -Housing Division prior to the hearing and/or may appear and be heard in support of or opposition to the Agreement at the time of the hearing. If you challenge the decision of this case in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues that you or someone else raised either at the public hearing, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Manager's Department -Housing Division at, or prior to, the public hearing. Furthermore, you must exhaust any administrative remedies prior to commencing a court challenge to City Council/Housing Authority action. In the City's efforts to comply with the requirements of Title II of the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990, the City Clerk requires that persons in need of special equipment, assistance, or accommodations) to communicate at the hearing, inform the City Clerk a minimum of 72 hours prior to the scheduled meeting.
