NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of La Quinta City Council will hold a PUBLIC
HEARING on AUGUST 1, 2017, at 5:00 p.m., in the La Quinta City Hall Council Chamber,
78495 Calle Tampico, La,Quinta, California, on the following item:
ADOPTION OF USER FEES AND REGULATORY FEES
The City Council will consider adopting a resolution revising the user fees and regulatory
fees for various City services.
The proposed fee schedule updates are intended to reflect the annual Consumer Price Index
increase, and other refinements intended to enhance fee schedule clarity or improve the
correlation between the cost of providing services and the fees imposed to recover those
costs. The City's consultant, ClearSource Financial Consulting has prepared the proposed
adjustments to the user fees and regulatory fees.
At the Public Meeting, City staff will• present the proposed user and regulatdry master fee
schedule and will accept questions thereon. All Interested persons are invited to be. present
and be heard.
Any person may submit written comments on the contemplated action listed above to the
attention of Monika Redeye, Deputy City Clerk, prior to the Hearing and/or may appear
and be heard in support of, or opposition to the item at the time of the Hearing. If you
challenge the decision of the action listed above in court, you may be limited to raising
only those issues that you or someone else raised either at the Public Hearing or in written
correspondence delivered to the City Clerk Department at, or prior to the Public Hearing. A
copy of the "User and Regulator Master Fee Schedule" Is available at City Hall and may be
viewed by the public Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday,
from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Hub, La Quinta City Hall, 78495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta,
