The Community Development Department hereby approves your request to establish
a temporary -construction trailer at.78-255 Winnie Way; La Quinta pursuant to Section
9.60.250 of the Municipal Code, subject to the following.conditions:
1 Mounted on the exterior of the construction trailer door shall ba a written notice
providing emergency personnel your 24-hour emergencyphone number they can

° call in case problems arise that need your prompt attention- (i.e., minimum 1 "
high letters). -

2.- Install -one 2A1013C fire extinguisher inside the front -exit door -of the trailer.
3. The applicant will indemnify, defend and hold' harmless the. Cit.y of La Quinta. in
case of any legal claim or litigation arising out of the City's approval of this
project. The City of La•Quinta will -have the right to select its defense counsel
at -its sole discretion.:
4. The City may elect to add conditions to this application request to mitigate any
;problems that arise not.previously addressed herein.
The sales trailer shall be.' removed by July 12, 2003,, unless the Community
Development Director grants.an extension. '

Dear Mr. Pierce:
On July 12, 2002 the Community Development Department approved Minor
Use Permit 02-,351 to allow you to establish a temporary construction trailer,
at 78-255 Winnie Way. The trailer.: was to be removed by July 12, 2003. `
The construction trailer'. is still located on the site and must be removed
unless an extension is applied for and approved by the Community
Development Department. I have enclosed a Minor Use Permit Application
.for your use. Please fill it out and mail it back to us for processing.
In addition, we are currently processing Minor Use Permit 03-424 for another
one of your projects located at 53-225 Troon Trail. We are withholding this
approval until .you comply with the conditions from the prior permit. . Please
remove the trailer at 78-255 Winnie Way or submit another Minor Use Permit
,Application. requesting a time extension fora specific time period. I hope this
can be resolved in 'a timely manner.
