The Architectural Committee received your Preliminary Architectural Variance Request for proposed interior
modifications, an office room addition, patio shade structures. and new windows all shown ori sheets A-2, A 3
and S 1, dated March 30, 2015, all prepared by John.,F. Neely Residential Design. On May 18, 2'015, the
Committee reviewed the information provided. The scope of work is conceptually acceptable; in accordance
with the Architectural Guidelines. , Homeowner's Association CC&R's and Maintenance and Indemnity
Agreement. ,
1. The proposed two shade structures require additional review, relative 'to the adjacent_ neighbors'
properties and the completion of the "Adjacent Neighbor Notice Form". ,
2. The new replacement window and glass doors are to have a brochure with specifications and color
samples for review. '
3. The garage door is to have a manufacturer sample and brochure for review. This letter does not include
any pool, spa, pool decking, landscape, irrigation and exterior lighting review.
The" Committee's -review does not provide an opinion on the acceptance and compliance with the City of La
Quinta building codes and planning requirements. It is understood that the existing theme: and details are to be
maintained in `design, finish and color including the roofing materials to match. i
