I have reviewed your e-mail dated 6/22/06, requesting a time extension for the
Plan Review of the remodel/addition proposed to be built at the above address
under Application #06-323.
Plan review status:
Original application date: 1/20/06
180 -day expiration date: 7/19/06
Under the provisions of California Building Code'Section 107.4, "the building
official may extend the time for action... on request by the applicant showing that
circumstances beyond the control of the applicant have prevented action from
being taken." A decision to delay your project does not meet the Code criteria for
an extension. Consequently, your request is hereby denied.
This permit must be purchased on or before Wednesday, July 19, 2006 or the
application will expire. Once purchased, in order to keep it active, the first
successful inspection must occur within 180 days of permit issuance. With your
proposed start date, it should be no problem to accomplish this. If the application
does expire, new plans must be resubmitted and a new plan review fee paid
(CBC §107.4).
