RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive the Fiscal Year Preliminary 2013/2014 Budget forthe La Quinta Housing Authority
and direct staff to prepare a Fiscal Year 2013/2014 Final Budget forthe June 18, 2013 La
Quinta Housing Authority Meeting.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The 2013/2014 proposed budget consists of the Housing Authority operational budgets
for Project Area 1 and 2.
FISCAL IMPACT:
All of the Fiscal Year 2013/2014 revenues and operational appropriations are included in
this proposed budget. Revenues and other funding sources are estimated to be
$1,227,966 and expenditures and other uses are estimated to be $1,025,065 in the Fiscal
Year Preliminary 2013/2014 Budget.
BACKGROUND/ANAYLSIS:
The La Quinta Housing Authority Fiscal Year 2013/2014 proposed budget is incorporated
in the budget document discussed in agenda item S1.
ALTERNATIVES:
Staff is requesting:
Review and comment on the Fiscal Year 2013/2014 La Quinta Housing Authority
Preliminary Budget and provide direction regarding any proposed changes to the
document; or
2. Provide staff with alternative direction.
