I have completed several observations of the above project and have found the
structural framing to be insubstantial conformance with the plans and specifications. At the time of my
observations the following items still needed to be completed.
1. Installation of a plywood transferpanel between the bottom chord of a drag truss at the laundry room
and the shear wall top chord below. This wall is a low volume wall and the plywood transfer with typical
626x12 8d nailing will be adequate.
2. Installation of plywood truss blocking .between trusses at `rear family roomAivina room -bear ing wall
and at main entry wall for the full length of the wall.
The symbol "A" for a 6x6 post at some location have been substituted with dbl 2x6 trimmers. This is
acceptable at the angled corners where the dining room and breakfast nook occur. Where there is not a
bearing header or beam calling for the "A" symbol the use of dbl 2x6 trimmers is acceptable. All other
locations showing the "A" symbol must be 6x6 posts, u.o.n..
