The following owner revision items are clarified and reviewed:
1) Electrical Panel (a, Casita — Penetration to existing shear wall (length 22.25')
along gridline "7" for electrical panel. See attached added detail 36/S-1.2 for
required 3x blocking and continuous Simpson "CMST14" strapping to span a
minimum of (4) bays at each side of electrical panel penetration.
2) Relocation of Fireplace (- , Great Room — Per my discussion with Jack
Cunningham @ Sedona Homes, fireplace to be relocated and centered along
wall. The relocation of the fireplace will leave two 6'-0" shear walls instead of
one 8'-0" shear wall per original design. See marked up image for required new
post and Simpson "HDU2" hold-downs at each end of the new 6'-0" shear wall
and at one end of the shortened shear wall which was originally 8'-0". Plywood
and nailing for the new 6'-0" shear wall to be designated with a "Delta 2", see
shear wall schedule. See also added retro detail 38/S-1.2 for application of new
Simpson "HDU2" hold-downs at each end of the 6'-0" shear wall and at one
end of the shortened shear wall.

This letter shall serve as notification from the Hideaway Design Review Committee (DRC) that your
construction drawings were reviewed at the April 7, 2015 meeting. The project was approved and
construction may commence at the lot subject to the following comments being addressed prior to
pouring foundation at the lot.
1. Along with review of the typical color and material selections in the field (prior to purchase and
installation) a large sample of the crushed limestone material will be required along with a sample
of the beam material.
2. On sheet 7.2, Details 6, 9, 10 and 13 do not appear to indicate the proper recessing per the
guidelines. As a reminder, all windows/doors facing the street, golf course and those high on the
home require a 6" recess and all other windows/doors require a 2" recess minimum. This
includes the sliding doors.
3. Courtesy comment: The committee suggests the use a more water efficiEnt MP rotter for the
lawn in place of the spray.
4. Please submit a detailed specification sheet for all exterior light fixtures and all proposed path
light fixtures. The committee will need to further consider the style presented by review of
detailed specifications.
5. Please clarify the lighting intent on the front yard palms as it appears Loth down lights and
uplights are proposed.
6. As a reminder, all future plan submittals are required no later than 8:30 a. -n. on the second and
last Tuesday of the month and two sets of full sized plans and one reduced set of plans must be
provided.
