HP18 units have SEER's of up to 8.80 with a cooling capacity range of 17,800 to 57,500 Stuh and a COP rating of up to 2.80 with a heating capacity range of 17,500 to 62,000 Btuh. Matching blower -powered indoor units with optional supplemental electric heat are available to provide selective sizing and installation versatility. See Selec- tor table. Weather resistant cabinet is constructed of galvanized steel with a baked -on outdoor enamel paint finish for maximum protection from rust and corrosion. Extra large four sided wraparound col with durable copper tubing and ripple -edged aluminum fins pro- vides maximum efficiency. Powerful direct drive fan with totally - enclosed motor draws air thru the entire col and discharges it up and away from shrubs and lawn. Rugged, PVC coated steel wire condenser fan and coil guards are furnished. Compressor is pro - tatted from excessive current and temperatures. Electrical con - vol box it located for easy access. Service valves and refrigerant fine connections are externally located. Available as options to be ordered extra are; refrigerant line sets and check and expansion valve kits. Tests were performed at random locations, i n accordance with ASTM D 2922-81 and ASTM D 3017-78 Nuclear bensity Test Procedure. Tests were performed as per authorization of Bob Cullen of Pomona Valley Equipment. The estimated locations of the tests are presented on the attached plan with their results being summarized on the attached test report sheet. A total of five (5) density tests were performed. Tests results indicate that a minimum of ninety (90) percent relative compaction has been obtained within the areas tested. The maximum density -optimum moisture were determined in the laboratory in accordance with ASTM D 1557-78, Method A or C. Prior to our arrival at the site, the grading on both sites had been completed. 3. The purpose of testing was to observe compliance with the minimum requirements of the City of La Quinta, California. Limitations This firm did not perform a soils investigation, did not conduct any tests to determine the general condition, adequacy or stability of soils on the property, nor did it observe the backfilling or compacting operations which were already completed at the time our personnel were called to the site. The only services performed were the specific moisture and density tests summarized in this report. These test results provide only limited information about the surface materials observed at the locations and depths tested and cannot be relied upon for information about subsurface conditions or compaction, or to determine the appropriateness of any design or construction of improvements on the site. No inspection was made of the contractor's work and no guarantee or warranty of that work in backfilling or compaction of the soils on the site is made or implied.
