PLOT PLAN APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE SUCH INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS AS
MAY BE REQUIRED BY THE PLANNING DIRECTOR, IN ADDITION TO THE
FOLLOWING:
1. A plot plan, drawn to scale, that shows the following:
a. Boundary and dimensions of property.
b. Topography of the property.
C. Location of adjacent streets, drainage structures,
utilities, buildings, signs, and other features that
may affect the use of the property.
d. Proposed development, including planned buildings and
structures, access, drainage, yards, drives, parking
areas, landscaping, signs and walls or fences, with
dimensions.
2. A complete set of elevations of the proposed buildings.
3. A landscape plan showing size, type (botanical and common
name), and location of proposed plant material.
4. A list of the exterior materials and colors to be used,
including identification of where each will be painted or
used; also, an 8" X 13" color and materials board which
contains color swatches and representative likeness of the
materials to be used.
5. The net and gross square footage for each proposed use and
building.
6. The square footage allocated for sidewalks /walkways,
parking, landscaping, and building.
7. If the application requires a public hearing:
a. One complete set of colored renderings for the
elevations, plot plan and landscape plan.
b. A list of the names and addresses of all owners of real
property located within 300 feet of the exterior
boundaries of the property to be considered, as shown
on the last equalized assessment roll and any update
issued by the City Assessor. The list must be
certified by a title company, architect, engineer, or
surveyor.

TEMPORARY SALES TRAILER FOR TENTATIVE TRACT #23268
Dear Mr. Smith:
This is to inform you that the above subject application is
approved pursuant to compliance with the following requirements:
1. Approval of Plot Plan 90 -447 is limited to one year from
the date of this letter, after which time the use must be
terminated, unless a written request for extension is
submitted to the Planning & Development. Director within
30 -days prior to the expiration date.
2. Location, design and construction of the sales trailer
and site area shall be in conformance with the approved
Exhibit A, as contained in the file for Plot Plan 90 -447,
except where these conditions shall take precedence in
the event of any conflicts.
3. Applicant shall provide adequate parking for the duration
of the use of the sales trailer facility. All striping,
paving, pavement markings and traffic control devices as
may be required shall be installed as directed by the
City Engineer.
4. Applicant shall install portable fire extinguishers with
a minimum rating of 2A10BC adjacent to exit doors.
5. Applicant shall arrange any necessary inspections thru
the Fire Marshal's office, and shall comply with all
requirements of the City Fire Marshal.

6. Applicant shall apply for and obtain the appropriate
building permit(s) from the Building Division prior to
installation of the trailer. No permit will be issued
until clearance is obtained from the City Fire Marshal
and City Engineer.
7. Applicant shall provide suitable landscaping /ground cover
at all undeveloped areas within the limits of work for
the facility. "Suitable" means any combination of plant
material necessary to mitigate wind and water erosion
impacts while providing an acceptable level of aesthetic
appearance to the public.
8. No signage, banners; flags, etc. are approved as part of
this Plot Plan. Any signage must be reviewed pursuant to
Chapter 9.212 of the La Quinta Municipal Code.
Enclosed are copies of the approved Exhibit A, for your files.
