Dear Mr. Hartung,
We have performed structural observation with regards to .the framing for the above referenced project.
and find it to be in general conformance with the approved structural plans. The Building Inspector has
commented on a 5.125x24 glu-lam beam located above the "Tellers" with a beam stamp "Top" on the
bottom of the beam. The vertical load applied to this glu-lam beam is small and the beam is a 24F -V8,
therefore, the beam is acceptable as placed.
This structural observation does not relieve the City in any way from performing their standard structural
inspections nor is it in lieu of any code required special inspections. The structural observation
performed should not be construed as a detailed structural inspection but as a structural observation for
general conformance as per CBC 1702.
