Dear Mr. Swindel s
The Planning Department, has reviewed and approved your request. for three (3) illuminated
signs for the Bank of Southern California, located at 47-000 Washington Street, within the
La Quinta Professional Plaza; as shown in the attached exhibit and 'subject to the following
Conditions:
1: One. cabinet sign is permitted on the .south and .north building elevations. The
sign text shall read "Bank of Southern California" and may incorporate the
corporate logo. The raceways may not be illuminated; however ,the individual _
text and logo' may be. internally illuminated.. The materials.for the signs are per
the approved plans on file with the Planning Department.
2. One business identification sign is permitted on -the building's corner elevation,
identifiedassign "C" in the submitted sign packet..The sign shall be individually
mounted channel letters. No raceway. is approved for this corner sign unless the ,
applicant can show that a raceway is needed due to the building code.
3. All -proposed window signs, identified as sign "D". in the submitted sign packet
are approved.
4. A building permit shall be obtained from the Building & Safety Department prior -
to installation of_the signs if required.

3. Mandatory Sign Lighting Controls

2. The Mandatory Measures (sign lighting controls) are required for compliance with the sign lighting Standards. If the person
