DECLARATION OF POSTING
I, Monika Radeva, Executive Assistant, of the City of La Quinta, do hereby declare
that the foregoing Agenda for the Historic Preservation Commission meeting was
posted on the inside entry to the Council Chamber at 78-495 Calle Tampico, and

If background material is to be presented to the Commission during a Historic Preservation Commission meeting, please
be advised that eight (8) copies of all documents, exhibits, etc., must be supplied to the Executive Assistant for
distribution. It is requested that this take place prior to the beginning of the meeting.
Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Commission regarding any item(s) on this agenda will be made
available for public inspection at the Community Development Department's counter at City Hall located at 78-495

CALL TO ORDER
A regular meeting of the La Quinta Historic Preservation Commission was called to
order at 3:05 p.m. by Planning Manager David Sawyer.
Commissioner Puente led the Commission in the Pledge of Allegiance.
PRESENT: Commissioners Kevin Maevers, Leila Namvar, Maria Puente, and
Chairperson Peggy Redmon
ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Planning Manager David Sawyer and Executive Assistant

CONFIRMATION OF AGENDA- Confirmed
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion - A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Puente/Namvar to
approve the Historic Preservation Commission Minutes of December 12, 2013, as
submitted. Motion passed unanimously.
Motion - A motion was made and seconded by Commissioners Puente/Namvar to
approve the Historic Preservation Commission Minutes of February 20, 2014, as
submitted. Motion passed unanimously.
