When that "patio" became something less than what was its' original purpose. and, further, was forced into a rectangular shape and decreased in size due to the placement of 1113's. electrical transformer, we opted to omit the colored concrete. We had no control, as you well know, over the location of the transformer, .in fact, tried, without success,. to have it moved. Getting to talk to anyone at IID is difficult but moving a trans- former after it is located on their, drawings is akin to moving the Rock'of Gibraltar. Omitting the color was done.because of the lessened impact on the building and site, and because it is more consistent with the building across the parking lot. Our drawings, as well as those of TKC, still call for colored concrete and show the half -round plan shape of the "patio", however, we will correct those, as well as all the other construction changes on the "As -built Drawings" (or electronic. C9TY QF 01 1! TA disk) submittal at the completion of construction. .
