Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lateef,
This correspondence shall .serve as notification that the Hideaway Design Review Committee (DRC)
reviewed -and approved your request to add an outdoor fireplace with a smooth, stucco finish to match the
color and texture of the existing residence, subject to the following courtesy comments.
The flagstone seat and sample provided were approved.
The plan shows the exterior fireplace on the rear patio with a raised hearth only in front of the
fireplace; however, the elevation appears to show the hearth on each side adjacent to the walls as
well. The committee finds either solution acceptable subject to all applicable codes being met.
There appears to be a drafting error as the plaster trim that is shown on the front and the rear of
the fireplace is not detailed on the side elevations.

questions regarding this matter. Any applicable Building Permits must be copied to the Association
Office prior to the work starting in the field. Please contact the DRC once the work is completed as well
